Ministries & Missions

Children's Ministry

We strive to meet the needs of families who have children by supporting parents as they teach and develop faith in the child's life. Sunday mornings we offer a separate Sunday School class in graded classes where children are grouped by non-readers and readers. Sunday evenings we offer a children's ministry that offers musical engagement and learning to be a part of worship on a regular basis, as well as a study and play option that incorporates and coordinates with Sunday morning learnings.

Youth Ministry

Our youth ministry includes two groups, a small group of 4th - 6th grade Tweeners and another group of 7th - 12th graders. Both groups have Sunday School and Sunday evening opportunities to learn Scripture and apply what it can mean in their lives on a day-to-day basis. Supporting families is of utmost importance to us as we help each person grow in faith.

We Care Food Distribution

A long-time ministry to our community, We Care Food Distribution is provided on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. During the CoVid 19 pandemic, we are continuing this ministry with precautions to protect all who are involved - both volunteers and recipients. If you would like to support our food distribution and food pantry, please [INSERT GIVE BUTTON HERE]. Call the church office (601-732-6124) to learn more about this ministry. Thank you.

With 150 year history of mission and advocacy for women, youth, and children, we strive to join United Methodist Women globally in study, mission and service that impacts lives on a day to day basis. The purpose of United Methodist Women is to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Two meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 3PM or 6PM meeting. We welcome you at either of these times.

On the 4th Sunday mornings of each month, United Methodist Men meet at 7AM. All men are invited to join in this breakfast time to talk about ministries and plan to get involved in community projects and needs of others.
